Challenge: I was approached by Italic Studio, an awesome agency based out of Los Angeles, to contribute to Rally, the second issue of Reebok’s new magalog (magazine/catalog) for their female market. Directed at women who are passionate about fitness, Rally is an opportunity to share cool stories about women in the athletics and fitness realm, solidify and inspire their community and highlight some of the awesome products Reebok has been putting out into the world. There was a lot of content to put together, a lot of great ideas floating around, and not a lot of time. I got the opportunity to work on both product stories and editorial content, a welcome challenge.
Solution: I jumped right in, interviewing former Olympic swimmer for France and current badass Laure Manaudou over the phone for a profile, crafted titles and taglines for articles and product highlights, wrote up intros for some of the more in-depth product stories, and interviewed one of Reebok’s designers to get the scoop on a new product line. The end result is a cohesive online experience that both inspires and informs. You can see it in its full glory online (or in print if you’re lucky).
